Portable personas

A bespoke collection of wireless rechargeable LED light bulbs extended from the project “What if lights had personalities what would they be like?”.

Created specifically to address the issue of mass-produced single-use short-span products impacting our environment.

Portable personas can be placed in places that are no longer bound by an electric socket. Put them in your garden or on a car dashboard.

CHOISI employs design-methods that create deeper layers of meaningful semantics that most mass-produced products lack. By adding layers of emotional-value a product’s life span can outlast its price and basic utilitarian value not that different to a piece of antique.

The longer a product is used we slow down the rate of which products are thrown away, lessening the impact to the environment.
